Waikiki is one of a kind. Where else can you buy a T-shirt from a guy on the street for under $10 or spend $400 for a T-shirt of basically the same quality? Waikiki vendors have spent countless years perfecting an image designed to attract people from all over the world with very different budgets. When you shop Waikiki the distinctions will be obvious.
Open-air markets, like the International Marketplace with 140 shops at 2330 Kalakaua, provide an interesting difference to high-ticket shops like Tiffany & Co., Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Gucci located in the luxurious 2100 Kalakaua Avenue center. Across the street, King Kalakaua Plaza leases space to other well-known retailers including NikeTown, and Banana Republic.
The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, is also not for the laid-back shopper. If you begin your journey on the first floor of this three-story mall, you are guaranteed to find something that you cannot live without. Choose from labels like Chanel, Cartier, Hermes, Armani or Gianni Versace. Or head for specialty shops like Pacific Harley-Davidson or the Beer Exchange where Budweiser fans will find a large collection of Budweiser logo apparel and collectibles.
On the third floor you will find an authentic taste of Hawai'i at The Little Hawaiian Craft Shop. The store boasts the most wide-ranging selection of genuine Hawaiian made collectibles crafted by island artists.
The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, located in the heart of Waikiki at 2201 Kalakaua Ave., contains more than 150 shops and restaurants, and features free shows and craft demonstrations daily.
Ala Moana Shopping Center, Hawaii's biggest and best shopping center with over 240 stores, 60 dining choices, free local entertainment, a convenient shuttle bus, and more.
